Molly Henneberg joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2002 and currently serves as a correspondent based in the Washington bureau.
Most recently in 2013, Henneberg covered the Egyptian civil uprisings, the removal of President Mohamed Morsi, the murder trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, immigration reform efforts and President Obama’s second inauguration. Additionally, she provided coverage during the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, the Virginia Tech massacre in April 2007, where she was the first national reporter on scene, Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 from the Persian Gulf and the DC sniper attacks in 2002. In May 2005, she secured an exclusive interview with first lady Laura Bush from the White House.
Before joining FNC, Henneberg was a medical reporter at WBRE-TV (NBC 3) in Wilkes Barre/Scranton, PA. She also served as an early evening anchor at WPBN-TV (NBC 7) in Traverse City, MI and began her career as a reporter for WHAG-TV (NBC 26) in Hagerstown, MD.
In 2008, Henneberg was named one of Broadcast & Cable’s “Next Wave of Leaders.” She has also received several honors for her reporting, including a 1999 Michigan Association of Broadcasters Award for Best Series Reporting. In 2000, she was selected to participate in Radio Television News Directors Association's (RTNDA) German/American Journalists' Exchange.
Henneberg earned her B.A. in both English and elementary education from Vanderbilt University where she graduated summa cum laude.
