Before joining FNC, McNicholl served as a reporter for KFMB-TV (CBS) in San Diego, CA. During her tenure, McNicholl covered the city’s breaking news stories, including being at the scene of an F-18 military jet crash near MCAS Miramar. McNicholl won a local Emmy award for her special event coverage at the station. 

A cum laude graduate of Gonzaga University, McNicholl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast and electronic journalism. She is currently finishing her master's degree in criminal justice and cybersecurity from Boston University.
