Before joining Fox, Elizabeth worked as a digital content producer at WVTM 13 in Birmingham, Alabama for three years. During her time in local news, she contributed to online coverage of major stories in Alabama, including the kidnapping and murder of toddler Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney, the executions of Nathaniel Woods and Joe Nathan James Jr., and the jail escape of convicted murderer Casey White and corrections officer Vicky White. She also produced extensive coverage on the murders and funerals of eight Alabama police officers between 2019 and 2022.

Since joining Fox, she's covered an array of stories like Elnaz Rekabi, the Iranian sport climber who competed without a hijab, the crisis at the southern border and major hurricanes.

Elizabeth earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Montevallo and a master’s degree in Community Journalism from the University of Alabama.
