With a pelvic thrust, Adam Rodriguez blasts frosty whipped cream to waiting ladies.
It’s all part of the appetizing stripper routine Rodriguez had to sell to some unsuspecting women in “Magic Mike XXL.” And he sold it — with some chocolate sauce and sprinkles to boot.
“It was all real,” the actor told Fox News Latino ahead of the film’s release Wednesday.
In the upcoming and supersized “Magic Mike” sequel, the 40-year-old Rodriguez returns as Tito with pals Big Dick Richie (Joe Manganiello), Ken (Matt Bomer), Tarzan (Kevin Nash), Magic Mike (Channing Tatum) for a final crotch-thrusting road trip to a male-entertainer competition in Myrtle Beach.
“(Filming the sequel) was the most fun job of my career,” Rodriguez said. “It was great getting together with this group of guys and playing these characters again. It was really exciting.”

The first film didn’t delve much into the guys’ back story – except for Magic Mike – so this was an opportunity to develop them into full-fledged characters. Rodriguez said he probably said "no" more than five lines the first time around, but now it’s all about them.
“There is so much life to these characters … and it’s such a celebration of their friendship,” he added.
“XXL” finds Tito dreaming of opening a frozen yogurt truck with some interesting flavors like green tea olive oil with fresh mint or caramel with cacao nibs and sea salt. The flavors are endless.
“He’s ambitious and talks about building a frozen yogurt empire with artisanal flavors,” Rodriguez said of Tito. “The surprise is that he finds the same enjoyment from creating these flavors as he does dancing.”
As for the dancing, Rodriguez said getting back into shape for the role was brutal, working out several times a day to get his chiseled body back.
“There was a lot of working out involved,” he said. “It was a change in my lifestyle. I didn’t want to let my friends down.”
In addition to “Magic Mike XXL,” the Bronx-born actor is going to heat up the small screen again as he is set to join the cast of the red-hot TV show “Empire” this fall.
He has signed up for a recurring role as concert promoter Laz Delgago, who will get cozy with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson).
“All I know is that he was a 9/11 responder and with all that he saw with the attack, he is suffering from PTSD,” Rodriguez said. “I think he recognizes something in Cookie and she recognizes something in him that connects them.”
He added: “I can’t wait to start filming.”
