YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – An 18-year-old Ohio man is charged with aggravated murder and kidnapping in the stabbing death of a teenage girl whose body was found at a Pennsylvania landfill.
Police say Ricki D. Williams IV used a portable playpen bag to carry the body of 16-year-old Gina Burger by her mother as the woman waited outside her Youngstown-are apartment to file a missing person report.
Williams is being held without bond after a court hearing Wednesday. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
Investigators believe Burger was killed shortly after she left her apartment on June 23 to borrow some tea bags. A woman who lives in another apartment told investigators she helped dispose of the body after Williams threatened to kill her.
Police expect more charges to be filed.
