Cops Remove 6-Foot Python from California Parking Lot

Buena Park police are looking for the owner of a 6-foot python found underneath a car in a shopping center parking lot.

Cpl. Andy Luong tells the Orange County Register a man spotted the snake under a Ford Focus outside a Sears store Tuesday afternoon.

The man said he initially saw the snake, an albino with yellow markings, slithering across the lot and followed it as it went under the car.

Orange County animal control officers removed the snake and no injuries were reported. The snake will be put up for adoption if no one claims it within five days.

Luong tells City News Service the snake is not aggressive and is believed to be someone's pet.
