Iowa teen says not guilty in grandparents' deaths

A 17-year-old charged in the shooting deaths of his grandparents in eastern Iowa has pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.

The Telegraph Herald in Dubuque (http://bit.ly/KHxMlg ) says Isaiah Sweet entered a written plea on Wednesday in Delaware County District Court. His trial is set for Aug. 1.

Sweet is charged as an adult in the shooting deaths of Richard and Janet Sweet. Their bodies were found in their Manchester home on May 13.

Sweet remains in jail on $1 million bond.
