LINCOLN, Neb. – Students at Lincoln Southeast High School have been put on notice: There'll be no dirty dancing at the homecoming dance.
Lincoln/Grand Island television station KOLN/KGIN reports that the school sent a letter to families outlining what won't be acceptable at the dance Friday.
Among the dance steps barred are "freaking," ''juke dancing" and those in which partners "grind" or otherwise touch in a sexual manner.
Last year, Lincoln Southwest High School barred from its dances students from other schools. The effort was aimed at cleaning up what administrators consider dirty dancing.
The district lets schools set their own dance policies.
