Florida Boy 14, Allegedly Kills Man for $4

Police have charged a 14-year-old Florida boy with first degree murder in a robbery worth a mere $4.

Harleme Larry is accused of shooting and killing 31-year-old Agustine Hernandez on Monday, MyFoxTampaBay.com reported. Investigators in Dade City, Fla., say that Larry admitted to committing the crime for four dollars.

Larry was armed with a .45 caliber handgun when he saw Hernandez standing along Oak Street in Dade City, according to the arrest report. Larry then allegedly approached him, opened fire, and then ran home. Larry confessed to deputies he later threw the murder weapon into a lake.

According to police records, Larry has been arrested before on minor misdemeanors.
