The Minnesota Timberwolves waived center Darko Milicic and designated him as the team's amnesty player Thursday.

Milicic has spent parts of last three seasons with Minnesota after being acquired from the New York Knicks in 2010.

He averaged 4.6 points and 3.3 rebounds through 29 games, including 23 starts, last season.

Over 467 career games (208 starts) with Detroit, Orlando, Memphis, New York and Minnesota, Milicic has averaged 6.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
