Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen was ejected from Monday's clash with the Clippers for kicking all-star point guard Chris Paul in the face.
The infraction occurred late in the first period, when Allen bit on a pump fake and spread his legs as he jumped in the air. Paul drove past Allen, whose shin made contact with Paul's face.
The refs initially ruled a flagrant 1 foul but after a video review, upgraded it to a flagrant 2, which is an automatic ejection.
The Grizzlies led 25-15 at the time of the ejection.
