Edinburgh, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - Celtic bagged a pair of second-half goals on Saturday to extend its impressive winning streak in league play to 15 matches following a 2-0 win over Hearts at the Tynecastle Stadium.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, the Hoops broke the deadlock two minutes prior to the hour mark when Leigh Griffiths buried his first goal of the campaign.

The match was never really in doubt after the first goal, but Celtic added a second tally in stoppage time when Teemu Pukki smashed home his fifth goal of the season to ensure the Hoops came away with all three points.

The result keeps the Hoops unbeaten in league play this season with 23 wins and three draws through 26 matches. They hold a comfortable 24-point lead over second-place Aberdeen at the top of the table, while Hearts remain rooted to the foot of the standings with six points.

Elsewhere in Scotland on Saturday, Rory McKenzie and Danny Haynes traded goals as Kilmarnock and Hibernian played to a 1-1 draw, while Lyle Taylor scored a second-half double to go with a goal from Conrad Balatoni as Partick Thistle earned a 3-1 victory over Aberdeen.

De Leeuw's 83rd minute goal held up as the winner in a 2-1 result for Ross County against St Mirren, and in Saturday's final Scottish Premiership fixture, Gary Warren netted the only goal of the match for Inverness in a 1-0 result over St Johnstone.
