Bears sign Mason Foster

Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears signed linebacker Mason Foster to a one-year contract on Wednesday.

In 10 games last season with Tampa Bay, Foster had 62 tackles.

Foster has appeared in 57 games with 54 starts over four seasons with Tampa Bay. He was selected by the Buccaneers in the third round (84th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Washington.

Foster collected 341 tackles, six sacks, 26 tackles for losses, five interceptions, and two fumble recoveries during his time with the Buccaneers. He returned two of his five interceptions for touchdowns.
