Fayetteville, AR (SportsNetwork.com) - Michael Qualls had 20 points and nine rebounds and No. 25 Arkansas beat Iona 94-77 on Sunday.

Anthlon Bell also scored 20 points for the Razorbacks (6-0), who have won their first six games for the first time since 1997-98. Rashad Madden tallied 16 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

"I thought our depth was the difference tonight against a very good attacking Iona club," Arkansas coach Mike Anderson said, according to the team's official website.

"We stressed to the guys that 40 minutes of pressure would eventually take its toll and it did late in the second half. They (Iona) have some really talented scorers and I thought our guys did as good job of staying with them in the second half."

David Laury ended with 25 points and 14 boards for the Gaels (4-2), who had a three-game winning streak snapped. A.J. English also had 25 points.

The Razorbacks ended the first half on a 19-10 run to take a 44-40 lead into the locker room.

Trailing 61-60 with 11:15 to play, Arkansas put together a 19-6 run. Qualls tallied eight points during the surge that Jacorey Williams capped with a jumper for a 79-67 edge.

Iona never got closer than 10 the rest of the way.
