Scott Baio's co-star denies actor sexually assaulted her after Nicole Eggert said he did

Scott Baio's “Charles in Charge” co-star came to his defense Thursday when Nicole Eggert claimed Baio forced Josie Davis to pull her pants down when she was just 13.

Davis caught wind of Eggert’s claim on Twitter, which has since been deleted and responded denying Eggert’s allegation.

“The allegation that @NicoleEggert made on Twitter saying @ScottBaio was inappropriate with me is completely false,” Davis tweeted. “I only had a positive and a professional relationship with him. Out of respect for those involved I will not be responding further on the matter.”

Eggert filed a police report in February, claiming Baio sexually abused her when she was a minor. She accused Baio of molesting her when she was 14, 15 and 16, while they were starring alongside each other on the family sitcom “Charles in Charge.” She also has claimed that Baio had sex with her when she was 17.

Baio has vehemently denied all of Eggert’s allegations, saying he never molested her. He did say they had sex one time after she had turned 18.
