Two fishermen from New Jersey had an exciting fishing trip off the New Jersey coast: a mako shark jumped into their boat and began chewing things on the deck.

Clint Simek and Capt. Tom Rostron Jr. said they were fishing for sharks all day near the Manasquan Inlet when the mako took one line, jumped out of the water, and landed on the deck.

They managed to get the shark under control and kill it.

The fishermen showed the shark's head to Fox 5's John Huddy. Simek and Rostron said the shark weighed more than 300 pounds and was more than 8 feet long.
