Dutch prosecutors say customs officers have intercepted more than three metric tons of cocaine with a street value of over 120 million euros ($149 million).

The shipment, discovered Friday in Rotterdam in a container that arrived from Costa Rica, is the second biggest ever intercepted at the city's port, prosecutors said in a statement Sunday.

Police and prosecutors are investigating, but there was no immediate word of arrests.

The largest consignment ever found in Rotterdam was 4.2 metric tons of cocaine discovered in 2005.
