Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A pizza delivery driver tells Sioux Falls police that he was robbed while delivering a pizza.

Police the robbery was reported late Sunday night.

Police tell KELO-TV that the delivery man brought a pizza to a home but the people there told him they didn't order it. Authorities say a girl then came out from the side of the house saying her aunt had ordered it.

She left and returned with money. But when the delivery man told her it wasn't enough, someone grabbed him from behind and a third person hit him in the hand with a baseball bat.

The driver says another person held him at gunpoint until he dropped the pizza.

The delivery driver was treated for a hand injury.
