Details on funerals, visitations and other services for South Carolina church shooting victims

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Several funerals and other services have been set for the nine people slain in a shooting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

Below are details:

CLEMENTA PINCKNEY

On Wednesday, the casket of state Sen. Clementa Pinckney, the pastor of Emanuel AME, will be in the rotunda lobby of the South Carolina Capitol for a public viewing from 1 p.m.-5 p.m., according to Leevy's Funeral Home in Columbia.

Two other public viewings will be held Thursday. The first will be from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church in Ridgeland. The second will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Emanuel AME in Charleston.

Pinckney's funeral will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at TD Arena on the College of Charleston campus, with President Barack Obama scheduled to deliver the eulogy. Burial will take place directly afterward at African Methodist Episcopal Church in Marion.

SHARONDA COLEMAN-SINGLETON

Services for Sharonda Coleman-Singleton will be held on Thursday at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston. A viewing will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., immediately followed by an Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony. Funeral services start at the church at 2 p.m., according to Murray's Mortuary in North Charleston.

Funeral arrangements are still being made, according to the Facebook page of the Charleston County Public Library, where Hurd worked.

TYWANZA SANDERS

Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Emanuel AME in Charleston, according to Murray's Mortuary in North Charleston.

Funeral arrangements are being finalized and are likely to be released on Wednesday, according to The Palmetto Mortuary in Charleston.

ETHEL LANCE

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., and the funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Royal Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston, according to The Palmetto Mortuary.

DANIEL SIMMONS

Arrangements are pending for the Rev. Daniel Simmons Sr., a minister at Emanuel AME. Flowers and gifts can be sent to New Life Church in Hampton, Virginia, according to granddaughter Ava Simmons.

Funeral arrangements are being finalized and are likely to be released on Wednesday, according to The Palmetto Mortuary in Charleston. Family will be receiving guests at their home in Hollywood, South Carolina.
