Stoke-on-Trent, England (Sports Network) - Stoke City made its fourth signing of the summer on Monday with the capture of Werder Bremen forward Marko Arnautovic.
The Austria international joins Stoke for a fee believed to be $3 million after signing a four-year contract with the club.
Arnautovic, 24, tallied five goals with six assists in 26 Bundesliga matches for Bremen last season, and he joins defenders Erik Pieters, Marc Muniesa and Moroccan midfielder Oussama Assaidi as new arrivals at the Britannia Stadium.
Also on Monday, the Potters added midfielder Stephen Ireland from Aston Villa on a season-long loan.
The 27-year-old made just nine Premier League starts for the Villains last term as he fell out of favor with manager Paul Lambert.
During his time in the Premier League, Ireland has tallied 24 goals in 233 appearances.
