Bowling Green (5-1) closed out the first period with a 14-4 run that included 3-pointers from Zack Denny and Clarke to take a 32-18 advantage into the break. The Falcons shot 50 percent from the floor, finished with a 33-27 rebounding advantage and continued to steadily pull away over the final 20 minutes of the game.

Denny contributed 10 points in the win, which marked the first meeting between the programs and continued the Falcons' streak of getting points from at least eight players per game this season. Ten Bowling Green players hit buckets in Saturday's game.

Ladarius Tabb led Alabama A&M with a season-high 24 points, including five 3-pointers, and 10 rebounds. He was the only Bulldog player to reach double figures.
