Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Kings signed forward Tanner Pearson to a two-year contract extension on Thursday.

Pearson has appeared in 67 career NHL regular season games, all with the Kings, totaling 15 goals and eight assists. This season, the 2012 first-round pick has 12 goals and four assists. He missed 34 games because of a lower body injury.

The 22-year-old Ontario native was part of the 2014 Stanley Cup run with Los Angeles. He has played in 25 career postseason games, registering four goals and eight assists.
