Alameda, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Wide receiver James Jones was cut by the Oakland Raiders on Tuesday, along with guard Kevin Boothe and linebacker Miles Burris.

Jones, 31, led Oakland with 73 catches and six touchdowns in 2014, his first season with the Raiders. He averaged a career-low 9.1 yards per catch and finished with 666 yards, second on the team.

After seven seasons with Green Bay, Jones signed a three-year contract with Oakland following the 2014 season. In 120 career games, he caught 383 passes for 4,971 yards and 43 touchdowns. He led the NFL with 14 receiving scores in 2012.

Oakland signed veteran receiver Michael Crabtree in April and selected Alabama's Amari Cooper No. 4 overall in last week's draft.
