Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Indiana Pacers center Andrew Bynum will be sidelined indefinitely due to continued soreness and swelling in his right knee.

The team made the announcement on their Twitter account Friday night, prior to a home game against the Chicago Bulls.

Bynum, who missed all of 2012-13 with knee problems, averaged 8.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 24 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers this season. He was then traded to Chicago, but was dumped by the Bulls in a salary-saving move without playing a game.

Bynum then signed with the Pacers as a free agent and averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in his first two outings in an Indiana uniform.
