It was like something out of a movie.

Patrick Schwarzenegger recently found himself in the middle of a car chase that could’ve been a scene in one of his father Arnold’s action films.

The Governator’s son, 21, was tooling around California’s San Fernando Valley in his car last week when another driver chucked a bottle of water at his car and sped off, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Just like one of his father’s on-screen alter egos, the younger Schwarzenegger wasn’t about to turn a blind eye to such an egregious transgression and chased after the offending party.

The pursuit lasted until the water-thrower pulled a U-turn and ended up “ramming” into the car of Miley Cyrus’ main squeeze, reports the website.

While that may sound bad, the damage reportedly was so minimal that Schwarzenegger drove away from the scene of the collision to lunch with his sheer top-wearing pop-star girlfriend, 22, at a local restaurant, where he called the cops.

Authorities took a report and are said to have opened an assault-with-a-deadly-weapon investigation.

Schwarzenegger’s mother, Maria Shriver, may have been worried about the “Wrecking Ball” singer being a bad influence on her son, but it sounds like he’s more than capable of getting into trouble by himself.
