Meghan Markle’s closest friends say she wrote a heartbreaking letter to her father
According to Meghan Markle’s close friends, the Duchess of Sussex has tried to repair the relationship between her and her father, but there’s a good reason why she has distanced herself from him.

Insiders say that Thomas Markle isn't welcome at the birth of Meghan and Prince Harry's baby.
Sources close to Thomas told TMZ that he has no plans on traveling across the pond to welcome Baby Sussex into the world.
Thomas reportedly hasn't been able to reconcile with Meghan, 37, with sources saying the former "Suits" actress is allegedly in a "cone of silence."

Thomas and the Duchess of Sussex have been at odds since he missed the royal wedding in May 2018, citing health problems.
Since then, he's spoken out against the royals in the press, much to Meghan's chagrin. Despite her begging him not to do so, he continued to speak to the media for months, even publishing a handwritten letter she sent him requesting that he stop communicating with tabloids.

Thomas told press at the time that he originally planned to keep the letter “totally private out of respect for her” until her friends “launched their attack” on him in People magazine.
In the letter, dated August 2018, Meghan wrote, “You’ve told the press that you called me to say you weren’t coming to the wedding — that didn’t happen because you never called. I have only ever loved, protected, and defended you, offering whatever financial support I could, worrying about your health. So the week of the wedding to hear about you having a heart attack through a tabloid was horrifying. I called and texted… I begged you to accept help — we sent someone to your home… and instead of speaking to me to accept this or any help, you stopped answering your phone and chose to only speak to tabloids.”

A royal expert previously speculated that Thomas may never meet Harry and Meghan's baby, opining, “I can’t think for a moment that Thomas Markle will ever be able to meet his grandson or granddaughter.”
Another claimed that Meghan "moved on" from her family drama and is focusing solely on motherhood.

Meanwhile, Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, has reportedly been staying in Frogmore Cottage with Meghan and Harry since this weekend as they await the birth of Baby Sussex. Ragland was also present at the royal wedding and other events since her daughter entered the royal family.
