411 Playlist: Grammy Award-winning band to perform at Teen Choice Awards; Lady Gaga cancels Indonesia concert after protests
No Doubt fans are feeling "Hella Good" upon hearing the news that the Grammy Award-winning band will finally return to the stage at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on July 22nd on Fox after a year and a half hiatus.
According to the band's website their 6th studio album is set for release on September 25th.
Also putting a new album on the market is The Darkness who after seven years is releasing "Hot Cakes." Justin Hawkins and Ed Graham sat down with Fox411 to talk about their third album saying, "it's our best work thus far." They also spoke about their upcoming summer tour with none other than Lady Gaga who has, according to them, given then "a great opportunity" and they are "very grateful for it." They added they are "going to be playing a whole new audience, thousands of people in lots of countries we've never visited before."
While on the road, Gaga herself is making news after she was forced to cancel her show in Indonesia due to security concerns after Islamic hardliners protested the pop diva due to her provocative antics on stage.
The Mother Monster took to Twitter after the cancellation and promised he would "try to put something together special" for her disappointed Indonesian fans.
As Gaga supporters in Indonesia continue to wait, music fan pay their respects to Doc Watson who died at the age of 89. The folk singer was awarded the National Medal of the Arts in 1997 and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammys in 2004.
