Eva Longoria has worked really hard to keep her private life ... well, private; especially after she started dating Mexican mogul boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston.
And while she didn’t want to chat about her new love, the actress did give a few details on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” when casually pressed by the famous host.
"So you are in love with a businessman from Mexico," DeGeneres began. "Let's talk about him."
"No, let's not," the 39-year-old replied. "He's uber private."
The “Devious Maids” executive producer said, though, she is very happy.
“He’s a good dresser,” she said while looking at a photo of the two. “I always have to step it up now. It’s exhausting.”
Longoria and Baston, 45, made their first public appearance in November after weeks of keeping the relationship quiet. Baston is the president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America.
The “Desperate Housewives” star also talked about traveling between wherever she is for work and Mexico, an arrangement that seems to work just fine for the duo.
“I am here and there ... I work everywhere. I love planes, I love flying, I love airports,” Longoria confessed to DeGeneres. “I know restaurants in certain airports that I will go earlier to the airport [for], cause I really want to eat there. I love airports. I like reading. I like Wi-Fi. I get very excited.”
Longoria also gushed about taking her mom to meet the Dalai Lama – which seemed to have a greater impression on the actress than her mom.
“He is pure joy,” she said. “I took my mom – he’s not Catholic so she doesn’t really know. So I was like ‘Mom, he is the Pope of Buddhism.’”
The A-list event included the likes of Naomi Watts, Lupita Nyong’o, Rosario Dawson, Sandra Oh and Jim Carrey, who was Longoria’s mom’s favorite person.
“She really liked Jim Carrey,” Longoria said.
