Even supermodels like Gisele Bundchen don’t get everything they ask for.

After the Bundchen's prayers for Tom Brady to win Super Bowl XLVI went unanswered Sunday night, the Brazilian beauty immediately came to her hubby’s defense—but not in the way you would expect.

Caught on video by the insider.com, Mrs. Brady is seen leaving her suite in Lucas Oil Stadium when a Giant’s fan is overheard yelling, "Gisele...Eli rules... Eli owns your husband."

Madonna's Super Bowl Halftime Show Extravaganza

At first the Victoria’s secret model takes the high road and avoids engaging the man’s comments, but Bundchen becomes increasingly agitated, finally loudly telling the fan, "My husband cannot f****ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."

After her gracefully composed email to friends and family last week, Bundchen’s potty mouth excuse is playing into the hands of Giant’s fans everywhere.

Last week Bundchen was telling friends and family  that “Tommy really needs our prayers, our support and love at this time.” That same week her quarterback husband came close to promising a victory at a pep rally in Massachusetts: "We're going down there, and were going down there for one reason ... hopefully, we'll have a lot more people at our party next weekend."

Best Super Bowl Commercials (and Worst)

Statements like this sound identical to what the Patriots said four years ago when the underdog New York Giants beat the then undefeated New England Patriots in Super bowl XLII.

While the Brady clan will not get any new Super Bowl bling this year—it is the bruised egos that will hurt the most
