DAYTON, Ohio – A not guilty plea has been entered for an Ohio man accused of raping a boy who authorities say was brought to the man's home by the boy's adoptive father.
Montgomery County court officials say a Dayton judge entered the plea Tuesday for 31-year-old Patrick Rieder (REE'-dur) on four counts of rape of a child under 13. His bail remains at $1 million.
The prosecutor says the adoptive father brought the boy to Rieder's Dayton home and both men engaged in sexual conduct with him.
The adoptive father is charged in two counties with several counts of raping children under his care. The Associated Press is withholding his name to protect the children's identities.
Rieder's attorney declined to comment Tuesday.
