A Michigan juror was ousted from a trial after the young woman posted a guilty verdict on Facebook before the case was concluded, MyFoxDetroit.com reported.
A judge in suburban Detroit removed juror Hadley Jons of Warren, Mich., after the 20-year-old woman reportedly wrote on her Facebook page that it is "gonna be fun to tell the defendant they're guilty."
Jons was part of a jury impaneled for a case of resisting arrest, the station reported.
The post was reportedly discovered by the son of defense attorney Saleema Sheikh.
"I would like to see her get some jail time, nothing major, a few hours or overnight," Sheikh told the station. "This is the jury system. People need to know how important it is."
Circuit Judge Diane Druzinsk, who reportedly called the post "disturbing," promptly replaced Jons with an alternate juror.
