San Antonio, TX – The San Antonio Spurs have signed forward day contract.
Dawson has appeared in 18 games for Austin of the NBA Development League and is averaging 15.9 points with 10.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists for the Toros. He is second in the D-League with 13 double-doubles.
A San Antonio native, the 6-foot-9 Dawson has played internationally in Slovenia, Japan, South Korea and the Dominican Republic in addition to 67 games with Austin. He was a Division II Second-Team All-American in college at Midwestern State University.
