Report: Ohio State's Sullinger out with back spasms

Jared Sullinger will miss No. 2 Ohio State's game against Pan American on Saturday because of back spasms, according to a report.

CBSSports.com said Friday that Sullinger has been receiving treatment "for the last couple of days" and could be out even longer than one game.

The website, citing sources, said the star Buckeyes sophomore could miss "an extended period of time." He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday and will be re-evaluated after the weekend, according to the report.

One of the nation's premier players, Sullinger has averaged 19.1 points and 10.3 rebounds for Ohio State (7-0) this season.
