MACON, Ga. – Joel Naburgs scored all 16 of his points in the second half, when Stetson rallied from a three-point halftime deficit to rout East Tennessee State 67-46 Thursday in the Atlantic Sun Conference quarterfinals.
All-conference center Adam Pegg finished with 17 points and Willie Green had 13 points and 13 rebounds for the third-seeded Hatters (15-15), who will play second-seeded Florida Gulf Coast on Friday.
The sixth-seeded Buccaneers (10-22) were outscored 46-22 in the second half, their lowest-scoring half this season. They shot 25.4 percent (15 of 59) overall, including 4 of 23 on 3-pointers.
Stetson, which won its first game in the tournament since 2006, outscored ETSU 13-1 in the first 6 minutes of the second half to go ahead 34-25. The Hatters shot 48.9 percent (22 of 45) for the game.
Jarvis Jones and Lester Wilson scored 11 points each for ETSU, which split two regular-season games with Stetson.
