Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Monte Ellis paced a balanced Dallas offense with 18 points and the Mavericks kept on rolling with an easy 107-80 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

All five Dallas starters scored in double figures in the Mavericks' fourth consecutive win. Chandler Parsons tallied 17 points along with nine rebounds and six assists, Tyson Chandler went 7-of-7 from the floor in a 14-point, nine-rebound effort and Dirk Nowitzki chipped in 13 points.

Gerald Henderson scored a season-best 18 points for Charlotte, the lone bright spot in the Hornets' second lopsided loss in three days. Kemba Walker and Jannero Pargo each finished with 11 points.

"For the second time in a row we just didn't have any, really I would say a readiness and approach to fight for a win," Bobcats head coach Steve Clifford said. "At Golden State (on Saturday) and tonight, when things went poorly we just didn't have the fight."

Charlotte recorded the game's first five points, but the Mavericks countered with a 14-2 run and never trailed any time thereafter.

Parsons was fouled while burying a trey later in the opening quarter and completed the rare four-point play to put Dallas up 27-17 just over eight minutes in. The Mavericks led 32-24 at period's end behind a 59 percent field goal percentage, then shot even better in the second quarter to turn the contest into a rout.

Chandler had a pair of inside buckets during an 11-0 surge that staked Dallas to a 59-36 advantage with under 3 1/2 minutes to go in the half, which the Mavs capped with Brandan Wright's alley-oop dunk off a Jameer Nelson give that put the Hornets at an overwhelming 67-43 deficit at the break.

Dallas shot 65 percent in outscoring Charlotte by a 35-19 count in the second.

"That's how we should play the whole season," said Ellis. Just get out, run, flow, pass, cut and find the open guy. We have so many threats and weapons on the offensive end that (the defense) has to help a lot, so it leaves a lot of guys wide open."

The Hornets got as close as 17 points down after opening the third quarter on a 9-2 run. However, Nowitzki buried back-to-back jumpers in front of a Parsons 3-pointer that ignited a 13-0 stretch that put the game completely out of reach with just over four minutes to go in the frame.

Dallas entered the fourth quarter owning a comfortable 88-61 lead.
