Jets' Ryan says Mangold is game-time decision

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan said Friday time decision for Sunday night's contest in Baltimore because of a high ankle sprain.

Mangold was limited in practice Friday, but did get some reps and is listed as questionable on the team's injury report.

"I think if today was the game, I would say no," Ryan said Friday. "But the fact it's a Sunday night game may help the process. We'll see how it is."

Mangold had been held out of practice since he was injured during the first quarter of a Week 2 win over Jacksonville. The ankle sprain forced him to miss Sunday's 34-24 loss in Oakland, ending his streak of 82 straight games played.

Prior to that, he had started every game at center since the Jets picked him 29th overall in the 2006 draft.

Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress, who was limited in practice Thursday because of a hamstring injury, was a full participant Friday and is probable for Sunday night's game against the Ravens.

Cornerback Antonio Cromartie was a full participant in practice for the second day in a row after sitting out Wednesday because of a rib injury.
