Sometimes-hugger Jerry Seinfeld appeared to shade Kesha on Instagram Thursday after posting a photo of himself embracing wife Jessica.
“Thanks to all the fatherhood supporters who attended the Fatherhood Initiative lunch today for my amazing wife’s Good+ Foundation and to MR PORTER for putting it together,” Seinfeld posted.
Seinfeld came under fire earlier this week for snubbing the 30-year-old pop star on the red carpet after requesting a hug from the comedian three times. Seinfeld later defended his actions following an onslaught of criticism from Kesha’s fan base.
“I don’t hug a total stranger,” Seinfeld told Extra. “I have to meet someone, say hello, I gotta start somewhere.”
He also revealed he hadn’t the slightest idea of who Kesha is.
“I’m 63, I don’t know every pop star, I don’t know everyone,” he said.
