Most celebrities steer clear of obsessive fans who stalk them for years to get their attention. Apparently, Jake T. Austin is not one of them.

The “Fosters” actor is now dating Danielle Ceasar, a 22-year-old New York-based superfan who pestered him on Twitter for six years.

“I’m crazy about her,” the 21-year-old captioned an Instagram photo of him kissing Ceasar in bed last month.

In a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” alum said: “We’re young and having fun just getting to know each other. It doesn’t matter how you meet someone – on set, in a coffee shop, at school or in the business. Sometimes you connect with people at the right moment, and you click.”

Ceasar began her attempts to get Austin’s attention late in 2009 when she tweeted: "@jaketaustin you're amazing; sorry, just thought you should know that."

She professed her Twitter-stalking ambition just a month later. “I wanna meet @jaketaustin so badly,” she tweeted.

However it wasn't until 2011 that her unrequited infatuation with the actor would begin to play out in the non-virtual world. She met Austin in a 2011 autograph signing in New York.

“Your smile is so cute @jaketaustin,” she captioned a photo of the two. According to the Daily Mail, he followed her back on Twitter after that.

Ceasar, whose Twitter and Instagram accounts are now private, continued to tweet Austin over the years. CapitalFM got screenshots of her tweets.

It is unknown exactly when the two started dating.
