TV chef says Matt Lauer, Bobby Flay are just good friends
Two months after finalizing her divorce, Giada De Laurentiis has revealed there’s a new man heating up her kitchen.
After gossip queen Wendy Williams bluntly asked the chef if she has a boyfriend, De Laurentiis coyly said, “I’m gonna say kind of.”
“And I will tell you this is the first time I’ve actually said that,” the famed foodie added during Wednesday’s visit to Williams’ talk show.
When asked if she’s in love, De Laurentiis couldn’t hide her joy and happiness. “God!” she yelped, dropping spoons in embarrassment.
Williams joked about De Laurentiis dodging any further interrogation and joked: “I could just read Page Six and find everything out or you could just come clean now!”
De Laurentiis, who managed to keep her food in her mouth during Wednesday’s cooking segment, didn’t share any other details about her mystery man.
Last December, the Food Network star ended her marriage to her husband of 11 years, Todd Thompson. Days before announcing the demise of her marriage, she was spotted having a cozy dinner with fellow chef Bobby Flay in New York City.
She later denied any romantic involvement with Flay and squashed rumors that she was dating “Today” frontman Matt Lauer.
