Ohio man, 18, who pleaded guilty to killing 2 brothers in home is sentenced to life in prison

OTTAWA, Ohio – An 18-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison in the killings of two teen brothers in northwest Ohio.

A Putnam County judge told Michael Fay on Monday that he won't be eligible for parole until he's 78 years old.

Fay pleaded guilty in October to two counts of aggravated murder in the shootings of 14-year-old Blaine Romes and his 17-year-old brother, Blake Romes.

Authorities say Fay killed the brothers at the Ottawa mobile home he and his mother were sharing with the brothers and their mother.

Prosecutors say the teens had an argument while their mothers were at work, and Fay got a gun from a storage unit and shot the brothers.
