A Miami International Airport terminal was reopened after closing Wednesday morning while police investigated a possible bomb.

Public Information Officer Greg Chin said the concourse was reopened after a suspicious bag was investigated and turned out to be nothing.

Police said a bomb-sniffing dog detected something on a pallet there.

Miami-Dade police spokeswoman Robin Pinkard said the terminal was evacuated at 7 a.m. She said all planes were being diverted away from the terminal and the department's bomb squad was on the scene.
