A Philadelphia construction company has outlawed swearing on the job — yes, really — in the hope of setting a good example for college students.
Madison Construction is working on a new library at Temple University, and has posted a big, red-and-white sign saying "No Foul Language" at the entrance to the site.
"We try not to [use profanity]. We do have safety meetings about it and they want you to not curse," contractor David Buehler told Fox 29. "There are kids around here."
Most of the workers told the station they had no problem watching their language, but admitted it was something of an adjustment.
But what do Temple students think of the policy?
"I don't understand the point of it," one said to Fox 29.
