Gstaad, Switzerland – Mikhail Youzhny of Russia will do battle with Robin Haase of the Netherlands in Sunday's final at the Swiss Open.
The sixth-seeded Youzhny handled 2008 Gstaad champion Victor Hanescu by a 6-3, 6-3 margin.
Youzhny became the first Russian to reach the final here since Igor Andreev in 2008. The last Russian winner in Gstaad was Yevgeny Kafelnikov in 1995.
Haase rallied past fifth seed and 2006 runner-up Feliciano Lopez 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.
The 25-year-old Haase became the second Dutchman to reach the final here. Tom Okker was a four-time finalist from 1968-1971.
The 31-year-old Youzhny will appear in his 21st ATP World Tour final (8-12 record). Haase is 2-0 in title matches.
Youzhny holds a 4-0 mark against Haase.
