Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Less than an hour before Tuesday's Game 2 between the Wizards and Hawks, Washington announced that star point guard John Wall wouldn't play because of a wrist injury.

Wall suffered the injury to his left wrist in the second quarter of Washington's surprising Game 1 victory. He briefly left the game in noticeable pain before gutting out the second half, finishing with 18 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds in the 104-98 win.

Wall has posted four consecutive double-doubles and is averaging 17.4 points and 12.6 assists through five playoff games for the Wizards, who enter Tuesday's slate as one of only two unbeaten teams left in the postseason.

Ramon Sessions, who is averaging 6.2 points in 16.6 minutes this postseason, is the only other point guard on Washington's roster.
