There is only one perfect team left in women's college basketball.
No. 1 UConn remains perfect on the season and is the only team to do so after previously undefeated No. 5 Vanderbilt was crushed by No. 2 South Carolina on Sunday, 103-74.
UConn dominated Xavier by 50-plus points on Wednesday, 97-39, and the Huskies honored Sarah Strong for surpassing 1,000-points mark before the game.
Here's a look at the last undefeated team in 2025–2026, as well as some teams yet to record a win, through Jan. 25.

UConn has had the most difficult schedule of the undefeated teams to this point, with the NET plopping them at the fifth-toughest schedule out of 363 teams. The Huskies dominated every team they faced this week. They kick off February against No. 15 Tennessee — the last team UConn lost to back in Feb. 2025.
Winless Teams
There are also teams without any wins to consider. Here are the teams still looking for that first victory of the season.
- Central Connecticut, 0-19 (0-8 Northeast Conference)
- Niagara, 0-19 (0-10 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference)
- Valparaiso, 0-20 (0-9 Missouri Valley Conference)
