Warriors' Curry has sprained ankle
Oakland, CA – Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is to-day.
Curry, entering his third season, sustained the injury during Tuesday's preseason finale against the Kings.
An MRI and CT scan confirmed the severity of the injury on Wednesday.
Curry had issues with the same ankle last season but still played 74 games and averaged 18.6 points, 5.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds for Golden State.
The Warriors open the regular season on Sunday against the Clippers.
