Nico Steriti had his first 100-yard game of the season and scored a career-best four touchdowns as No. 1 seed New Hampshire rolled to a 44-19 win over Fordham in the second round of the FCS playoffs on Saturday.

The Wildcats (11-1) face eighth-seeded Chattanooga next weekend.

Jimmy Owens scored a 51-yard TD on New Hampshire's first snap of the game and quarterback Sean Goldrich, who threw for 240 yards, added an 8-yard run to make it 14-0 after one.

Michael Marando's two field goals sandwiched around Chase Edmond's 91-yard run got Fordham (11-3) back within 14-12 with 5 minutes left in the first half. New Hampshire closed the half with Steriti's 11-yard run after a couple long completions and a field goal by Brad Prasky for a 24-12 lead.

Steriti finished with 110 yards for his 10th career 100-yard game.

Edmonds, a freshman, had 208 yards, his second 200-yard game.
