Renton, WA – Seattle Sounders FC signed defender Daniel Steres on Friday and waived midfielder Christian Sivebaek.
Seattle selected the 21-year-old Steres in the 2012 Major League Soccer Waiver Draft on June 6. He was originally selected in the 2012 Supplemental Draft by Chivas USA.
The 24-year-old Sivebaek played three games, including one start, for Seattle.
