Kansas City, MO – The Kansas City Royals signed pitcher Jose year contract Wednesday.
The 27-year-old left-hander appeared in 58 games out of the bullpen for Minnesota last season, recording an 0-2 record with a 4.59 ERA and 30 strikeouts over 49 innings.
Over four seasons with the Twins, Mijares has a 3-6 record with a 3.16 earned- run average in 186 appearances.
