Redskins re-sign Scott, Montgomery

Ashburn, VA – The Washington Redskins re-signed defensive lineman Darrion Scott and offensive lineman Will Montgomery on Monday.

Both players were scheduled to be unrestricted free agents.

Last year, Scott provided depth at the defensive end position, recording 10 tackles in seven games. The Ohio State product has 9 1/2 career sacks.

Montgomery started 16 games last season -- his fourth with the Redskins -- for the first time in his NFL career. He played 14 games at center and lined up at left guard for two.
